Care Tips
CANDLES
LIDS: Lids are provided with each candle to help retain the scent for as long as possible. Do not carry the candle by the lid as it will detach easily. Always remove the lid before lighting your candle. Place the lid back onto your candle after the flame has been snuffed and the candle has cooled.
LET IT POOL: When you are lighting a new candle for the first time, please allow it to burn for 2 hours to establish a sufficient melt pool. This will help the candle to burn evenly and give off its strongest fragrance. **Tea light candles should only be burned for a maximum of 3 hours, and should always be burned in a tea light holder, not freestanding.
TRIM THE WICK: Before each use, be sure the wick is trimmed to ¼”. A wick that is too long will dance around, mushroom, cause unnecessary smoke, and will overheat the container sides.
BURN IT SAFELY: Soy candles should not be burned for more than 4 hours at a time and should never be left unattended. Extended burning may cause the wick to be drowned by wax, or jeopardize the glass container. Keep your candle away from children, pets, flammable objects, and drafty areas. The jar may become hot and should be kept on a heat resistant surface. **Tea light candles should only be burned for a maximum of 3 hours, and should always be burned in a tea light holder not freestanding.
LET IT GO: The candle should be retired when there is ½” of wax remaining in the container. This will help prevent heat damage to your countertop or furniture.
WAX MELTS
FIND A SPOT: Place your wax melter on a stable, heat resistant surface away from children, pets, and drafts. Never leave your melter unattended.
TAKE IT OUT: Pop one or two cubes of wax melt from the packaging and place into the top of a dry, clean melter. Do not add water.
CHANGE IT UP: Use your wax melt until fragrance is no longer released. If you wish to change the scent or discard the current wax melt simply tap the sides of the warmer once the wax has completely cooled, or place the melt reservoir in your freezer for a few minutes and then pop the wax out. If fragrance still remains you can seal the solidified wax in a plastic bag to reuse another time.
We encourage you to reuse or recycle all containers and packaging.
